The most popular Watt-output in the single burner induction stove range is 1800 Watt. Of the 157 customers’ reviews at Amazon, 80 have given it Five Stars and 45 Four Stars. The induction stove price of the Max Burton 6200 Deluxe 1800-Watt  is $20+ more than the standard model. It boasts 54 Amazon reviews and rated Five Stars by 29 customers. This model is the second most popular cooktop at Amazon.
An additional popular feature of these models is that they are portable as well. You can take them wherever you like and, as long as you have access to electricity, you always have the most effective cooker available when you need to make food.

One of the reasons why the induction stove price of these single burners is so much higher than the popular ones above, is the fact that their elements have a bigger diameter, even though the rating (1800 Watt) is the same. This means that the heat is distributed more evenly in the cooking vessel. However, as long as you use a good, quality induction cooking vessel, the heat will be distributed by the pot/pan itself.

Induction stoves only work when the cooking vessel is both electric conductive and magnetic. If this is not the case, no heat will be generated and the stove will automatically switch off in a few seconds. Good quality stainless steel pots and pans do meet these requirements and all ferrous cooking vessels. All people have pots which are not induction compatible (like aluminum and glass) and an easy way around this problem is simply to use a compatible interface disk. So, if the power setting on each burner is 1-10 and you have set the one on 6, the maximum setting on the other one is 4 (total 4 + 6 = 10). An important point to remember is the fact that the total power output of these induction stoves with four elements is too much for a normal line with 20 Amperes circuit breaker; they need a line typically installed for electric stoves with circuit breakers of at least 40 Amperes.
